Hank Azaria — An actor from “The Birdcage” and the dogwalker on “Mad About You,” he is from Forest Hills Godfrey Cambridge — comedian-actor who graduated from Flushing High School. David Caruso — The former “NYPD Blue” star grew up in Forest Hills Gardens and graduated from Archbishop Molloy High School in Jamaica. Robert Chartoff — The producer of the film “Rocky” grew up in Kew Gardens Hills, down the block from Simon and Garfunkel. Fran Drescher — The actress, like her character, “The Nanny,” is from Flushing and lived near Queens College. She graduated from Hillcrest High School in Jamaica. 
Goldie Hawn — began her career by appearing as a go-go dancer at the 1964 World’s Fair. Madeleine Kahn — This Tony and Emmy Award-winning actress and two-time Oscar nominee attended Martin Van Buren High School in Queens Village. Bob Keeshan — “Captain Kangaroo” graduated from Forest Hills High School.
