Stallone and Meredith wore prosthetic pieces throughout the film. To show the cuts around Rocky’s eyes, Stallone wore small pieces over his eyebrows, while Meredith had a fake cauliflower ear and a tube stuck up his nostril made his nose appear permanently disfigured.
