10) The Hammer (2007) This is the most underrated film on this list. Adam Carolla stars as Jerry Ferro is this comedy about a former amateur boxer, who returns to the ring after more than a decade away. Ferro, at age 39, is working construction when he is asked to spar with a young, promising, figher. After knocking his opponent while sparring, Ferro decides to get back into shape and starts an unlikely comeback in an effort to make the Olympic team. 
9) Ali (2001) Will Smith is virtually unrecognizable as Muhammad Ali in this biography that focuses on Ali’s life from 1964 to 1974, when he won the heavyweight title from Sonny Liston, was stripped of his title for refusing to fight in the Vietnam War and his subsequent comeback after he was re-instated. In addition to Smith, Ali has an amazing cast, including Jamie Foxx as Drew “Bundini” Brown, Jon Voight as Howard Cosell, Ron Silver as Angelo Dundee and Mykelti Williamson as Don King.
